Campos Coffee, as it is today, began in 2002.
We purchased a tiny coffee business in the back lanes of Newtown, Sydney with one purpose - to create an establishment where every customer could be sure to receive an excellent coffee experience every single visit.
All of us had been in the industry for quite some time - we had seen what happens when others cut corners to save a dollar - quality suffers, the company makes 2% more in profits, and focus is lost forever.
Nothing could be depended upon and there was little integrity.
We felt it was time to raise the espresso bar using this unrelenting focus to never compromise on anything.
Always updating, and always on the lookout for improvements - our work is never done here.
If we are to be the cutting edge, we must never stop moving forward.
This is a very exciting, young industry.
Continuous improvement is a necessity and we are constantly upgrading our methods, beans and machines to ensure our customers will always receive the top experience as the Specialty Coffee industry grows and evolves.
