Knee Deep Wines is located in the heart of Margaret River’s premium wine-growing area in Western Australia and was established from farmlands by Dr Philip and Sue Childs in 2000.
The name ‘Knee Deep’ reflects a passionate commitment to the premium winemaking process. The name also refers to the laid back Margaret River state of mind in which visitors often find it too easy to immerse themselves.
Our wines are made from a range of varietals and offer something for everyone from the deckchair wine drinker to the panel tasting connoisseur!
Sample Knee Deep Wines full range of wines made by world renowned winemakers Bob Cartwright and Cliff Royle. Our Cellar door is open 10am until 5pm daily and our Restaurant serves lunch from 12pm until 3pm daily.
Knee Deep Wines has been listed as a 5 Star Winery by James Halliday in the 2012 Australian Wine Companion.

The restaurant offers an a la carte lunch menu seven days a week. Lunch service is from 12 noon to 3pm. Check our website for seasonal dinner opening times. We welcome families with children and offer a special kids menu.

Knee Deep Restaurant provides a beautiful relaxed location to create a perfect vineyard wedding. Our chefs and hospitality manager are highly experienced in providing menu options to suit any occassion. Combining with our boutique wines and the vineyard setting Knee Deep provides an exceptional venue for those special functions.
