In late 2008 Simon Hill closed his restaurant of 12 years ISIS Brasserie to begin work on a new project.
The whole of 2009 was devoted to this project, the existing restaurant was gutted and at the beginning of 2010 the doors to Ortiga were finally opened.
With a street level tapas bar and a stylish ground floor dining room Ortiga makes a well needed addition to the Brisbane dining scene.
