Born in the mid seventies, this restaurant is lovingly called 'an old lady in the twilight of her life' and let's just say that it's a twilight we can all only hope for!

Originally the first wine bar in Queensland, the ultra-funky venue quickly became the Gold Coast hotspot in the late '70s and '80s. In 2003, she wore a different face again and became the Swingin' Safari - restaurant, bar and emporium.

From Thursdays to Sundays, the Swingin' Safari invites you to take a step back in time to experience the kitsch glamour of the golden days of the Gold Coast.
